The vase body is adorned with the pattern of chrysanthemum flowers, an embodiment of an honest, genuine and successful gentleman, side-by-side with the image of vine flowers, representing the woman ever accompanying the man on his journey to success. The vase foot is decorated with a stylized lotus pattern as a representation of the wealth of Vietnamese culture.
