The Chu Dau BRG Ty Ba ceramic vase is an artisanal reconstruction of the classical Chu Dau ceramic vase dating back to the 14th - 15th century. The original vase was auctioned for US$521,000 in its debut in the US.
The Ty Ba vase bears a mellow shape in the likeness of the Ty Ba musical instrument, representing Yin, earth and the Vietnamese woman. The product is engraved and decorated by the hands of Chu Dau artisans beneath the layer of glazing (the glazing is made from the ash of glutinous rice ash).
The Hoa Lam vase is usually paired with the Ty Ba vase in a harmonious combination of Yin and Yang.
